In collaboration with the Sho-e-ate: Brainstorm in Progress podcast, these designs visually interpret the quote "Change is evolution." Originally crafted by podcast host Megan Rejman, this quote is one of her many insights on creativity and growth, aligning with the podcast’s mission to help creatives overcome mental blocks through mindset shifts.

This design is part of the Spread Wise Words initiative, which transforms podcast quotes into visual storytelling pieces. To emphasize the message, the design was created as a three-slide series, highlighting each word individually. This piece was featured across Sho-e-ate’s platforms—including Instagram, LinkedIn, and the podcast’s website—showcasing the impact of design in conveying powerful ideas.

Sandra shared that this creativity quote reminded her “of the power of letting go of fear and self-doubt to expand as a creative...stepping out of our comfort zones is often necessary for growth. She added, “The more I allow creativity to flow freely, without judgment, the more I enjoy the creative process.

Alternate Design Exploration

This design incorporates the imagery of butterflies to symbolize growth and transformation, echoing the essence of the quote. The butterflies represent the process of shedding fear and self-doubt, allowing creativity to emerge freely and flourish. The design is meant to evoke the idea that stepping outside our comfort zones is essential for personal and creative growth. The vibrant, fluid nature of the butterflies mirrors the freedom of creativity, while the quote invites reflection on how letting go of judgment can make the creative process more enjoyable and expansive.
